After digging through my stash of spruce tops, I chose a very musical set. It takes two pieces to make the top. First step was to bake the top. Here, it's paired with another top, stickered to prevent warping as they recover the atmospheric moisture that was lost in the baking. I always do two at a time, just in case there's a problem with the chosen one.
